QUICK CABBAGE SOUP 1 qt. beef stock or bouillon 1 onion, finely diced 2 carrots, shredded 2 turnips, peeled and diced 2 c. cabbage, shredded 1 small can tomatoes and juice salt and pepper little red wine vinegar Bring beef stock or bouillon to boil. Add other ingre- dients. Lower heat to simmer and cook covered for 30 minutes until vegetables are tender. Garnish each serving with 1 tablespoon sour cream embellished with minced fresh dill or parsley. Serves 6 to 8.
