CABBAGE SALAD 1 large cabbage, thinly sliced 1 large onion, sliced 1 large green pepper, sliced carrots for color 1 c. sugar 1 Tbsp. salt 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. celery seed pepper to taste 3/4 c. oil 1 c. vinegar Mix cabbage, onion, pepper and carrots with sugar and put in glass container. (I use gallon pickle jar.) Mix and bring to boil salt, mustard, celery seed, pepper, oil and vinegar. Pour cooked mix over the vegetables in jar (air- tight). Do not stir for at least 4 hours.
