CABBAGE-PEPPER SLAW

4 c. finely shredded crisp
cabbage
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad
dressing
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. tarragon vinegar
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard

Combine chilled vegetables. Combine rest of ingredi-
ents, stirring to dissolve sugar. Pour dressing over vegeta-
bles; toss lightly.
For deep contrast: Line bowl with curly endive and top
with green pepper rings.
