FRUIT SALAD DRESSING

1/2 c. syrup from canned
peaches
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 egg yolks, beaten
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. paprika

Heat syrup. Combine egg, sugar, salt and paprika; add
peach syrup, stirring slowly but continually. Cook over hot
water until thick and smooth. Add lemon juice slowly; chill.
Other juice can be used instead of peach. (lettuce salad!
Leave us alone.)
