LAYERED SALAD 1 head lettuce 1 c. chopped celery 4 sliced, hard-boiled eggs 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1 pkg. frozen peas, uncooked 1 purple onion, sliced in circles 2 c. mayonnaise 2 Tbsp. sugar 4 oz. grated cheese Layer in flat dish as listed (lettuce, celery, eggs, green pepper, peas and onion). Mix mayonnaise and sugar together and frost like a cake. Sprinkle with 4 ounces of grated cheese. Refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight.
