QUICK VEGETABLE STEW 1 lb. hamburger meat 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. dry taco seasoning 1/2 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 (7 oz.) can tomato paste 1 carrot 1 large potato, diced 1 stalk celery 1 onion (medium) 1 can green beans, drained 1 can green peas, drained 1 can whole kernel corn 1 (32 oz.) can tomato juice 1 c. frozen baby lima beans 1 small jar sliced mushrooms 1 c. elbow macaroni (optional) Brown hamburger in large Dutch oven. Add spices, seasonings and tomato paste; mix well. Grate carrot, celery and onion in blender; add and stir well. Add other ingredients and stir well, mixing thoroughly. Cook on medium-high for 10 minutes, stirring once or twice, then reduce heat to low for about 20 to 30 minutes. Makes 4 quarts.
