LAYERED LETTUCE SALAD 1 head lettuce 1 c. diced celery 4 eggs, hard-boiled and sliced 1 (10 oz.) pkg. uncooked, frozen peas 1/2 c. diced green pepper 1 sweet onion, diced 8 slices fried bacon, diced 2 c. salad dressing 2 Tbsp. sugar 4 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated Tear lettuce in bite size pieces and place in 9 x 12-inch dish. Layer rest of ingredients in this order: celery, eggs, peas, green pepper, onion and bacon. Add sugar to salad dressing and spread over lettuce like frosting. Top with grated cheese. Cover and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours. Garnish with bacon and parsley.
