ASPARAGUS SALAD 1 c. sugar 1 c. water 1/2 c. vinegar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped celery 1 small can asparagus 1 small can pimentos 1/2 c. chopped nuts 2 envelopes Knox gelatine, soften in 1/2 c. water 1 Tbsp. lemon juice juice from asparagus Boil together sugar, water and vinegar. Add asparagus juice, salt and gelatine (softened in water). Mix all; let chill until firm.
