CRABBY APPLETON 4 c. water 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cooking oil 2 c. curly noodles, uncooked 3/4 c. crabmeat, chopped 3 green onions, diced, including some of the tops 1 large stalk celery, diced 1/4 c. sliced black olives 1/3 c. mayonnaise 1/4 c. half and half or milk salt and pepper to taste 1 egg, hard boiled, sliced 1/2 large tomato, sliced or cut in chunks In a 4 quart kettle bring water, salt and cooking oil to boil. Add noodles and cook 10 minutes. Drain in colander, rinse under cold water and transfer to bowl. Add crabmeat, onions, celery and olives and mix well. In a small bowl mix mayonnaise, half and half, salt and pepper. Add dressing to salad and toss lightly. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Decorate with sliced egg and tomato pieces. Hint: For a more economical version, imitation crab can be used. Serves 4.
