GAIL'S GREEN CABBAGE SLAW 1/4 c. cider vinegar 1 Tbsp. sugar 4 tsp. salad oil 3/4 tsp. salt 4 c. shredded cabbage (1/2 of 2 lb. head) 1 c. chopped fresh parsley 3/4 c. thinly sliced scallions (about 4 large) This recipe should be made early in the day so that the ingredients can blend. In a medium size bowl combine cider vinegar, sugar, salad oil and salt until well blended. Add shredded cabbage, parsley and green onions. Toss until well coated. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 1/2 hours to blend flavor. Makes 4 servings.
