TACO SALAD 1 lb. ground beef 2 large onions, chopped 2 green onions, chopped 5 cloves garlic, pressed 1 c. thinly sliced celery 2 Tbsp. picante sauce 1 tsp. chili powder 1 medium head lettuce 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 1 c. tomatoes, chopped (optional) 1/2 c. chopped salad olives Cook ground beef until browned. Add onions, green onions, garlic and celery and cook until vegetables are tender. Drain well. Stir in picante sauce and chili powder. Combine lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and olives in a large bowl, tossing well. Add mixture and tortilla chips. Toss well and serve. Serves 8.
