Italian sausage 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt 3 Tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. basil 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1 pkg. spaghetti sauce mix 1 large green pepper, chopped 2 onions, chopped 8 oz. tomato paste 1 (15 oz.) tomato sauce 1 (46 oz.) tomato juice 1 can mushrooms Brown hamburger and Italian sausage, either ground or links, and drain. Add remaining ingredients and simmer at least 1 hour. This makes enough for a spaghetti dinner plus enough to make lasagna at another time.
