CHEESE SAUCE FOR VEGETABLES

2 Tbsp. butter
2 1/2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
3 slices American cheese
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
dash of garlic salt
dash of white pepper

Melt butter in saucepan. Blend in flour. Add milk,
Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt and pepper. Cook over medium
heat stirring constantly until it begins to thicken. Add
cheese. Continue cooking and stirring until cheese melts and
it's smooth and thick. Excellent on cooked vegetables also
used as a dip for fresh vegetables.
Note: I use a 3/4-inch chunk of Velveeta from a 2 pound
loaf. Especially good on cauliflower and broccoli.
