CRANBERRY ORCHARD SALAD

1 1/2 c. ground fresh
cranberries
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 pkg. (3 oz. each) or 1 (6
oz.) pkg. Jell-O brand
orange flavor
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. cold water
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cloves
1 orange, sectioned and diced
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or
almonds

Combine cranberries and sugar; set aside. Dissolve
gelatin and salt in boiling water. Add cold water, lemon
juice, cinnamon and cloves. Chill until thickened. Fold in
the cranberries, orange and nuts. Spoon into 6 cup mold.
Chill until firm, about 4 hours. Unmold. Garnish as desired.
Makes 12 servings.
