ENGLISH PEA SALAD 1/2 head lettuce 1 can water chestnuts, drained 1 c. chopped green onions and tops 1 c. chopped celery 1 pkg. small frozen English peas Cut up lettuce, then layer chestnuts, onions, celery and peas. Cover with mixture of 1 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup sugar and a pinch of salt. Cover and seal to edges. Cover with 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese. Seal with Saran Wrap and put in refrigerator.
