GRANDMA AGNES' CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP

Noodles:

2 c. flour
1 egg
little water

Soup:
1 stewing hen
3 or 4 carrots
2 stalks celery
1/2 small onion
2 Tbsp. chicken bouillon
1/2 can tomatoes
salt and pepper to taste

Noodles: Place flour in bowl and make a well. Beat egg
in flour adding flour until you can pick up the dough with your
fingers. Knead until dough blisters. Cover for three to four
hours. Roll out paper thin and slice.
Soup: Fill kettle with water and chicken. Bring to a
boil. Skim off water. Reduce heat and add vegetables. You
can take out the vegetables and chicken and just add noodles or
serve with all ingredients.
