PRETZEL STRAWBERRY SALAD Crust: 2 c. pretzels 3/4 c. melted margarine 3 Tbsp. sugar Filling: 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese 2 c. whipped topping 2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello 2 c. boiling water 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries 1 c. sugar Crust: Mix together 2 cups coarsely crushed pretzels, melted margarine and sugar. Press into bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 8 minutes at 400 degrees. Allow to cool. Filling: Mix one 8 ounce package of cream cheese with 1 cup sugar. Fold in 2 cups whipped topping. Spread over pretzel crust. Mix 2 packages of jello with 2 cups of boiling water. Add frozen strawberries. Stir until thawed and jello is cooled, but not set. Pour over cream cheese layer and chill.
