CHILLY DAY CHILI 2 medium onions, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped 1 can beer 1 Tbsp. salad oil 2 lb. lean ground beef 1 can tomatoes, pureed 8 oz. can tomato sauce 1/2 c. catsup 1 Tbsp. chili powder or to taste 2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans In a large kettle or Dutch oven, saute onions and green pepper in oil until tender. Add beef, stirring lightly to break up. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes or until meat loses color. Drain excess fat. Add rest of ingredients and simmer for one hour or on low in a crock-pot overnight.
