HOBO CHILI

1 lb. ground beef
1 c. green pepper, diced
16 oz. can tomato soup
1 can beer
1 tsp. black pepper
1 can Mexican-style beans
1 c. chopped onion
1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 Tbsp. chili powder or to
taste
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. salt (optional)

Cook the ground beef and onion together and drain off
the excess fat. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer for
two hours in a 5 quart Dutch oven or on low for eight hours in
a small cock-pot.
Hint: The beer helps eliminate the acid effect caused
by the tomatoes.
