POLISH TOMATO SOUP

2 lb. soup bones
6 large red tomatoes
3 celery stalks
2 large carrots
1 large onion
chicken flavor instant
bouillon to taste
2 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. dill weed (dry green)
2 Tbsp. butter
2 c. instant rice

Put tomatoes in boiling water for 3 minutes and skin
them. Put tomatoes, cut in small pieces, together with soup
bones in 5 quart pot. Cover with water and boil for 1 1/2
hours. Then remove meat from bones and put meat back in broth.
Give bones to dogs. Cut celery, carrots and onion in small
pieces. Put in broth and boil together for 1/2 hour. Then
stop cooking. Put 2 ladles of broth and sour cream in blender.
Spin for 1 minute. Put back in broth and add bouillon, dill
and butter, stir. Cook rice in separate pot and use 2 table-
spoons per plate. Serves 8 people.
