24 HOUR SALAD In a large bowl layer the following: 1. Shred 1 1/2 to 2 heads iceberg lettuce, about 1/3 of bowl. 2. 2 packages frozen peas, not cooked. 3. 10 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled. 4. 8 to 10 green onions, diced. 5. 6 hard-boiled eggs, sliced. 6. Seal with mayonnaise over entire top. 7. Sprinkle with grated Swiss or Cheddar cheese, about 1 cup. 8. Cover with plastic wrap. 9. Refrigerate overnight. It won't work if it is not made ahead and refrigerated overnight.
