PRETZEL SALAD

10 oz. frozen or fresh
strawberries
1 (large) pkg. strawberry
Jell-O
8 oz. Cool Whip
8 oz. cream cheese
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. crushed pretzels
3/4 c. butter
3 Tbsp. sugar

Bottom Layer: Melt butter and put in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Add 3 tablespoons sugar and pretzels. Bake at 375 degrees for 8
minutes.
Middle Layer: Beat cream cheese and the 3/4 cup sugar.
Fold in the Cool Whip. Spread this over the cooled bottom
layer.
Top Layer: Mix Jell-O according to directions on box,
pour over middle layer. Decorate with the strawberries.
Put this into the refrigerator until Jell-O is firm.
Then eat all you can; good for 2 days because bottom layer will
set too soggy, but delicious!
