POTATO SOUP 3 large potatoes, peeled and diced 1 onion, coarsely chopped 2 tsp. salt 2 c. milk 1 tsp. celery seed 1/4 tsp. pepper 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine 1 egg, beaten 3 Tbsp. flour chopped parsley Put potatoes, onion and salt in saucepan and add 1 1/2 cups water. Bring to boil, cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until done. Add milk and bring almost to boil. Add celery seed, pepper and butter or margarine. Blend egg and flour and drop by 1/2 teaspoon into soup and simmer 5 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley. Great on a cold winter day.
