WILTED FRENCH ONION SALAD

1 small onion, thinly sliced
and separated into rings
2 to 4 c. bite-size pieces
romaine
1/4 c. oil and vinegar
dressing
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. instant beef bouillon
dash of red pepper sauce
grated Parmesan cheese or
Swiss cheese
seasoned croutons

Toss onion rings and romaine in salad bowls. In small
saucepan, heat dressing, sugar, bouillon and red pepper sauce
to boiling, stirring occasionally. Drizzle hot dressing on
salads; sprinkle with cheese and croutons. Makes 2 servings.
