OLD WORLD LENTIL SOUP|
3/4 c. dried lentils, rinsed
5 c. water
1/2 lb. Polish sausage, cut
into 1/2-inch slices
1 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 medium tomato, peeled,
seeded and chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
1 bay leaf
Combine lentils and water in 3 quart casserole and let
soak 45 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Cover and place in oven on ceramic tray. (Set recipe number
16) Touch start (oven cooks micro/convection 320 degrees for 60
minutes). Discard bay leaf. Serve hot.
