TOMATO CREAM SAUCE 1 Tbsp. butter 1 clove garlic, minced 1/2 lb. fresh tomatoes, chopped or 1 lb. can tomatoes, drained and chopped 3/4 can (6 oz.) tomato paste pinch of nutmeg salt and pepper to taste 1 c. heavy cream Lightly saute garlic in butter. Add tomatoes and cook 2 minutes. Add tomato paste, nutmeg, salt and pepper. Add cream and continue to cook over low heat 2 to 4 minutes. Very easy, very delicious. Enough for 1 pound pasta.
