COOKED REFRIGERATOR SLAW 1 large pack slaw 1 small onion 3/4 c. celery 1 bell pepper 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. vinegar 1/4 tsp. turmeric 1 tsp. salt 1 egg 2 Tbsp. flour Chop onion, celery and bell pepper. Mix together with pack of slaw and set bowl aside. In saucepan cook sugar, vinegar, turmeric, salt, egg and flour. Cook this until real thick. Mixture will be jelled. Remove from heat, pour over mixture in bowl and mix well. This mixture may be kept in refrigerator one week. (Set in refrigerator 24 hours before serving.)
