STRAWBERRY CONGEALED SALAD

2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry
jello
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) frozen
strawberries, sliced and
thawed
1 (20 oz.) can crushed
pineapple, well drained
2 large bananas, sliced or
diced
2 c. sour cream (room
temperature)

Use 2 bowls. In each, dissolve 1 package jello in 1 cup
water. Add 1 carton (10 ounce) strawberries, 1/2 of pineapple
and one banana. Transfer one bowl to 9 x 13-inch dish and
place in refrigerator to set (about 1 hour). Leave other bowl
at room temperature and do not let it set. When refrigerated
half has set, spread with sour cream. Pour unset portion on
top and return to refrigerator to congeal. Serves at least 12.
