PARMESAN CROUTONS

4 (3/4-inch thick) slices
bread
1/4 c. melted butter
2 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Trim crust from bread. Cut bread into 3/4 inch cubes.
Drizzle bread cubes with butter, tossing to coat evenly.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and toss again. Spread cubes in
a single layer on a generously buttered cookie sheet. Bake at
350 degrees for 10 minutes or until dry and lightly browned. Yield:
about 4 cups.
