COKE SALAD Salad: 1 (No. 2) can water packed cherries 1/2 c. water 1 c. sugar 2 boxes cherry jello 1 (8 oz.) bottle Coke 1 small can crushed pineapple Topping: 1 pkg. Dream Whip 1 (3 oz.) pkg. creamed cheese 1/2 c. powdered sugar nuts, if desired Salad: Bring cherries, water and sugar to a boil and add jello. Stir until dissolved. Add Coke and pineapple and mix well. Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan. Let set. Topping: Mix Dream Whip according to directions on package. Add creamed cheese. Cream well and add powdered sugar gradually. Spread on set jello mixture. Sprinkle nuts on top, if desired.
