1 head lettuce
1 c. diced celery
1/2 c. green pepper, diced
1/2 c. green onion, diced
1 pkg. frozen peas
2 c. mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. sugar (sprinkled over)
1/2-inch layer grated Cheddar

Cut lettuce in bite size pieces and put in 13-inch cake
pan. Put on each layer as listed: lettuce, celery, green
pepper, green onion, peas, mayonnaise, sugar and cheese.
Refrigerate overnight. Just before serving, add broken pieces
of crisp bacon.
