TOMATOES AND ONION SALAD|
2 large beefsteak tomatoes
1 medium red onion
1/4 c. olive oil
2 tsp. ground oregano
1 tsp. salt
Slice tomatoes and red onion in bowl; place in alternate
layers. Mix oil, oregano and salt well. Pour over tomatoes.
Cover and chill at least 2 hours. Remove from refrigerator 15
minutes before serving. Serves 6.
