6 potatoes, peeled and chopped
into small cubes
1 c. celery, finely chopped
1 c. onion, finely chopped
1 lb. bacon, fried crisp
6 hard-boiled eggs

Cook potatoes until tender, drain, then put them in a
large bowl. Mix potatoes with celery and onions. Chop 4 eggs,
crumble bacon and mix well. Mix sugar, mayonnaise and vinegar
into a small bowl in equal parts, about 2 tablespoons of each
at a time. Pour over mixture. Mix well. Salt and pepper to
taste. Cut up remaining 2 eggs and sprinkle over top. Chill
for 1 hour.
