OLLIE'S VEGETABLE SOUP|
2 large potatoes, diced
1 large onion, diced
2 large carrots, sliced
1 c. shredded cabbage
1/2 c. English peas
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. dry noodles
1/2 c. corn
1 tsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. bacon fat
1 small can tomato juice
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. sliced okra (optional)
Put everything in large pot but tomato juice. Cover
with water and cook until vegetables are done. Add tomato
juice and cook on low heat about 40 minutes. Okra is optional
