3 lb. cabbage, shredded
2 medium onions, chopped
1 sweet pepper, chopped
2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 c. salad oil
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. celery seed
1 Tbsp. mustard seed
Mix cabbage, onions, pepper and the 2 cups sugar togeth-
er; let set. Bring to boil remaining ingredients and pour hot
over cabbage. Let completely cool; put in containers and
freeze. This remains very crisp in freezer.
