HOT DOG SAUCE

3 lb. lean ground beef
4 or 5 cloves garlic
8 medium onions, chopped
1 large can tomatoes
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 tsp. paprika
1 Tbsp. chili powder
pinch of oregano
salt and pepper to taste

Put all ingredients together in large pan and cook on
top of stove on medium heat until well mixed and smooth. Do
not cover. Put mixture in roasting pan and bake, uncovered, in
slow oven at 250 degrees for 3 or 4 hours. Stir occasionally. Sauce
can be thickened, if necessary with cornstarch which has been
mixed with beef broth. Freeze leftover sauce.
