PRETZEL JELLO SALAD

2 c. pretzels
3/4 c. melted butter
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. Cool Whip
6 oz. strawberry jello
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen
strawberries

Slightly roll pretzels with rolling pin to break up
before measuring. Mix 3 tablespoons sugar and melted butter.
Pat into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
Cool. Cream one cup sugar and the cream cheese. Fold in Cool
Whip. Spread over cooled pretzel layer. Make 6 ounce straw-
berry jello and 2 cups boiling water. Add the packages of
strawberries. Stir until dissolved and spread on top of white
layer when almost set.
