PRETZEL JELLO

3/4 c. butter
2 c. pretzels
12 oz. Cool Whip
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
6 oz. box strawberry jello
12 oz. frozen strawberries
2 c. boiling water

Cut butter into small pieces. Place in a 13 x 9-inch
pan and melt in 400 degrees oven. Break pretzels up and put into
butter and toss. Return pan to oven for 8 minutes. Cool.
Beat cream cheese with 1/2 cup sugar. Mix with the Cool Whip.
Spread on cooled pretzel mixture. Add boiling water to jello;
stir. Add strawberries and stir until separated. Pour on top
of cream cheese. Refrigerate until firm.
