ORIENTAL SALAD

1 can Allen's French style
green beans, drained (15
1/2 oz.)
1 can Allen's or East Texas
Fair Fresh shelled white
acre peas, drained (15 oz.)
1 can fancy Chinese
vegetables, drained (16
oz.)
1 can sliced water chestnuts,
drained (8 1/2 oz.)
1 (2 oz.) jar chopped
pimientos, drained
1 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
3 green onions, thinly sliced
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. cider vinegar
salt and pepper to taste

Place green beans, white acre peas, Chinese vegetables,
water chestnuts, pimientos, celery and onions in serving dish.
Sprinkle with sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Stir until well
mixed. Cover and refrigerate 4 to 6 hours for vegetables to
marinate.
