STEAK SOUP

1/2 to 1 lb. leftover cubed
barbecue steak
15 oz. can tomato sauce
3 peeled and cubed potatoes
1 c. each frozen green beans
and corn
3 peeled and sliced carrots
2 small green onions, sliced
2 to 3 stalks celery, sliced
1 bay leaf
10 peppercorns
1 qt. water (more or less,
depending on your desire)

Add all of the ingredients to a large pot. Bring to a
boil, then simmer 30 to 40 minutes. Serve with cheese and
crackers for a nutritious meal. Apples make a great dessert.
