1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. soy sauce
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
3 mashed cloves garlic
1 Tbsp. grated fresh ginger
2 Tbsp. sherry

Mix together and marinate meat 4 to 12 hours, refriger-
ated. Baste with marinade during cooking. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
Great for chicken on the grill.
