MANHATTAN CLAM CHOWDER|
4 chopped onions, cooked in
1/2 lb. bacon
4 carrots, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
1 (2 lb.) can tomatoes
1 pt. clams
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf
3 medium potatoes, cut small
Boil, then simmer until done, approximately 2 hours.
