1 large head cabbage
1 tsp. salt
1 grated carrot
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
2 c. sugar
Mix cabbage and salt. Let stand 1 hour, then squeeze
out moisture. Add carrot and green pepper. While the cabbage
and salt are standing, mix the remaining ingredients and boil
one minute. Cool to lukewarm. Pour over cabbage mixture and
mix gently. Pack and freeze. Thaw before serving. May be
