24 HOUR FRUIT SALAD 1 small jar cherries 1 large can crushed pineapple 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese 3 oranges 1/2 stick butter 4 Tbsp. vinegar 4 Tbsp. sugar 2 egg yolks 1 pt. Cool Whip Cut up and combine cherries, pineapple, cheese and oranges; drain. Beat egg yolks. Add butter, vinegar and sugar; cook on low fire until thick, about 5 minutes. Pour over all ingredients. When warm, add Cool Whip. Put in refrigerator overnight.
