24 HOUR SALAD
1 head lettuce, torn or cut
1 medium red onion, sliced
1 lb. bacon, fried and
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1/4 c. sugar
1 head cauliflower, cut into
bite size pieces
2 c. mayonnaise or salad
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Layer the lettuce, onion, bacon, peas and cauliflower
into a large bowl. Mix together sugar, salad dressing, Parme-
san cheese, salt and pepper. Spread on top of salad and make a
seal. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight. Toss before
serving. Serves 8 to 10.
