1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 large head cabbage
1 tsp. salt
Boil vinegar, water and sugar together until sugar
dissolves. Then add celery seed and mustard seed. Chop
cabbage; sprinkle salt and leave 1 hour. Then drain and
squeeze. Chop carrots, pepper and onion. Mix all together.
Pour vinegar mix over all and mix well. Freeze. Defrost in
refrigerator to use.
