MAMA'S SOUP 4 to 5 medium chicken breast 3 (1-inch) blocks fatback 1 pt. small lima beans (more if desired) 2 small onions 2 medium or No. 2 cans cream style corn (frozen or whole kernel undesirable) 6 fairly large potatoes (more if soup is too thin) 2 qt. tomatoes (frozen or canned; may add more if soup is too thick) 2 Tbsp. butter season to taste salt black pepper red pepper sugar Put chicken, lima beans and fatback in large pot. Cover with water. Cook until chicken is done. Take chicken out. Remove bones and chop. Add chicken to mixture with remaining ingredients. Simmer 3 to 4 hours, stirring frequently. Care must be taken not to burn or allow to stick to pot.
