PRETZEL SALAD

1 1/4 c. crushed pretzels
1/4 c. sugar
1 stick margarine
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 medium Cool Whip
1 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry
jello
1 c. hot water
1 large container frozen
sliced strawberries

Melt margarine in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix pretzels and
sugar. Press in pan. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Let crust cool
for 4 to 5 minutes. Mix together softened cream cheese, Cool
Whip and sugar. Spread on cooled crust. Dissolve jello in hot
water. Pour over cream cheese mixture. Thaw frozen straw-
berries and spread on top. Chill several hours until set.
