AMERICAN CHOP SUEY 1/2 to 1 lb. lean pork or veal, cut in pieces 1 onion 2 c. cut-up celery 1 green pepper, minced 3/4 c. uncooked rice 5 c. meat stock or 10 bouillon cubes, dissolved in 5 c. boiling water salt to taste 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 to 2 Tbsp. chop suey sauce Brown meat and onion; add rest of ingredients; cover and simmer 40 minutes. Uncover last 10 minutes. Serve hot. Serves 6.
