SEVEN LAYER CASSEROLE

1 c. uncooked rice
1 c. canned whole kernel corn,
drained
2 cans tomato sauce
1 c. water
1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
3/4 lb. ground beef

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a 2-quart baking dish with lid
add the following in layers: 1 cup uncooked rice, 1 cup canned
corn, salt and pepper to taste. Add one small can tomato sauce
and 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup chopped onion. Then layer on green
pepper, crumble on 3/4 pound ground beef, salt and pepper.
Then pour over second can tomato sauce and 1/2 cup water.
Cover and bake 1 hour. Remove cover and bake for 30 minutes
longer.
